The first book in the Harry Potter series has two titles.
When published in the UK in 1997, it was released as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. However, the US publisher didn't think that American children would understand the word philosopher so J.K. Rowling suggested the word sorcerer. When published in the US, the book was released as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
Each scene in the film containing philosopher/sorcerer was shot twice.
