No- because they are rebooting the whole series. They are no longer using Tobey Maguire for the movies. There is a new cast for every character. However, Mary-Jane Watson is not even going to be in the next film.

he will not die in spider man 4. Guys it just a reboot not the same characters. Dou yu guys agree it sucks that the main character is a new one, and it is a reeboot

∙ 11y agoBefore "Spider-Man 3" had actually been filmed- Kirsten Dunst was talking about wanting her character to die at the end of the movie because she did not want to do anymore sequels after three films. However, Sam Raimi did not allow her wish to happen because he wanted Mary-Jane Watson to be in the fourth film. Since that one was cancelled before filming even began- Dunst still got her wish of not having to be in anymore Spider-Man movies because Raimi was no longer continuing his series.
