Ground attacks have normal effectiveness on Floatzel.
Floatzel is the last evolution of buizel it doesnt go any further
I would only change him if the Floatzel was just caught, but if you have been with floatzel for a while, then keep him! I beat the Pokemon league with a level 56 empoleon, and level 49 lopunny, a level 46 staraptor, a level 38 rampardoa, a level 35 floatzel, and another Pokemon....oh yeah a level 50 dialga. so I would kepp the floatzel because of the second elete four the is a ground type.
Floatzel cannot learn Hydro Pump in any of the Pokémon games as of Generation V.
This is my opinion but... I think a good ground Pokemon is any Pokemon that has the move earthquake. It has an accuracy of 100 and its power is 100. Hope it helped!
Any ground type move or psychic type move like Earthquake and Psychic.

If the floatzel is female, it can breed with any water pokemon, for example, a male marill. But since the floatzel is female, its baby will be a marill. If the floatzel was male and the marill female, the baby will be a floatzel. Also, the baby's attacks and status will originate from both parents, like marill's double-edge and floatzel's ice punch. Convenient, eh?
Floatzel does not evolve any further as of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. This Pokemon only has a pre-evolution - Buizel. (See: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/419.shtml) Therefore, as Floatzel does not evolve, its evolutionary form has no name.
Yes, there are decent Pokemon that can't learn earthquake. Each Pokemon has its own strengths and weaknesses.
was there any damage to the earthquake plate situated near Japan please explain thankyou
You can beat the elite four with any combination of Pokemon, so the choice is up to you. Try getting your starter, Floatzel, Starraptor, Dialga, and two other Pokemon of your choice.

The Pokemon Aggron is the final evolution of the Pokemon Lairon, which evolves at level 42. It is not able to learn the move Earthquake through leveling, but it can be taught Earthquake using TM26 at any time.

Floatzel does not learn ice punch. Floatzel does not learn any ice type attacks naturally and must learn ice type moves via TM.
it was not servre but it was not good ethier ; it was mild and in D.R. instead of a big earthquake it was weird weather
A small earthquake is anything not felt or is felt but does not do any damage to property. An earthquake of magnitude 2.5 or less is usually not felt, but can be recorded by seismograph. Earthquakes above magnitude 2.5 and under magnitude 5.4 are often felt but only cause minor damage.
