Punk Rock Singer/Joey Ramone: Joey Ramone was born Jeffrey Hyman on May 19, 1951 in Forest Hills Queens, New York. He was never married. He was the lead singer for 'The Ramones.' At 6' 3" tall and a mass of long, black hair he was a success and after two decades of a successful singing career 'The Ramones' never reached mainstream stardom, but they did achieve the status of "punk" pioneers and were enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They eventually broke up in 1996. Joey Ramone preferred to stay out of the spotlight, but eventually returned to appear with the Dick Manitoba led 'Dictators' and played several gigs in New York. When his record was almost finished he unfortunately died on April 15, 2001 of lymphoma ( blood cancer.) The question was was he married, not who is he. The answer is: No, he was not. He had a few girlfriends when they'd want to get married he'd buy them a engagement ring , give them money for a apt and they'd go their own way he didn't want to marry the Ramones toured a lot doing over 2,000 concerts . In 1978 Joey had dated Linda (Johnny's wife) and they lived together for awhile. Johnny grabbed Linda's attention and they became a couple and got married. The thing that got Joey upset was neither of them ever apologized to Joey and they pretended Joey was never with Linda. Not cool.

∙ 13y agoNo, he didn't. He did, at one point, have a girlfriend. In the early 80's, though, Johnny Ramone (guitarist) stole his girlfriend. This is a completely legit answer.
When Johnny stole Joey's girlfriend, Joey decided to write a song which turned out to be "The KKK took my baby away." Joey was Jewish and Johnny would tease Joey with anti-semitic taunts and Johnny was also fascinated into Nazi history too. On top of that Johnny was a hardcore conservative while Joey was liberal.
