Is dumbledores's beard real?

Yes. (But you should realise that the person you saw in the movie is not Dumbledore, the arch-wizard, he is just an actor.)

Does Santa Claus have friends?

That's a very interesting question! I know when I was little, I very much thought of Santa was my friend. I think children around the world think of Santa as a good friend. Santa is magical and his heart likes to be giving. He still lives at the North Pole with Mrs. Claus. The elves live there too, and of course, Santa's reindeer. But, alas, it's very cold at the North Pole, so mostly, Santa visits his friends in December when Santa "Comes to Town" and visits friends at malls, stores, and even goes to hospitals to visit his Doctor friends!

Who was the old man in lord of rings?

depends upon which old man you are talking about. There is Gandalf, Saruman or even Bilbo Baggins. If you say man, I guess you mean human... for that would be Saruman as he didn't die or atleast he didn't in the movies, if he did die than it would be either Gandalf or the "Lost his name" Brown (he's a fellow wizard of Gendalf. (he only appears in the book") If you are looking for the average being in middle earth it either be a elf (Elrond, but this might not be as accurate... because there are many elder elfs that are not being named within the movie or book. So the only way to really find out is to talk to the author himself which unfortunally you can't do it anymore because he died on 2 September 1973(1973-09-02) (aged 81). If it a creature it probs be the Dragon or the Ent for they are from the first age of middle earth. hope this helps!
