For young people, especially teenagers, drama can teach lessons about bullying, peer pressure, drugs, and just life in general. It is so much more entertaining to watch a skit put on by some high school or college students than to listen to a lecture about staying away from "evil" things. Drama also puts things in practical perspectives rather than hearing about what one should do and not knowing how. Theater in its self is very effective, and even more so around children and teenagers. Watching it can help them learn; acting in it can help them figure out their emotions and relationships with others, as well as making it much more exciting and fun to learn such things as literature and history. === ===
