if u havent noticed, all the Pokemon that u have caught have the same ID number. so u have to trade with someone so u can have a Pokemon with a different ID number. (ur pokemons ID is ur trainer ID) u can trade with 3 people in the game, a little boy in rustboro (he has a makuhita and trading for a slakoth), a girl in fortree (she has a skitty and will trade for a pikachu) and a girl in pacifilog (who has a corsola [very rare!!!] and is trading for a bellossom) or u can connect and trade with ur friends
You can't change any ID numbers legally in Pokémon Sapphire, you have to use an Action Replay in order to change ID numbers.
