How can you get to the fifth gym in emerald?

after you beat the 3rd gym go through the park once you get out at the other end go right when you see a way up go there you will see a weird tree (sudowoodo) the you use the squirt bottle (whitch you get from the flower shop beside the gym after you beat it) defeat or catch the sudowoodo andkeep going up DO NOT GO RIGHT then you walk through the grass into ekortik city or whatever its called and the gym should be there.

1.Teach a Pokemon surf

2. get in the ocean

3.Grow a brain and look

4.if you can't find it still you are to lazy and need to get of the couch put down the pretzels and grow a brain you lazy bum\

After beating 3rd gym next to the pokemart (on the right) there's a house. Go inside and talk to the guy, he gives you Rock Smash. Teach a Pokemon rock smash then from where the gym is go up. There are 2 rock there. Smash one and keep going up. Get to Fallarbor town (easy to get there) and then make your way to Meteor Falls. Team Aqua and Magma will be there. After talking to them go back to Route 111 just outside that cave and go right and then up. The team magma ain't there anymore so go inside that place. Talk to the lady and get up. What you have to do now is go up to the rock mountain and fight the Team Magma. When you beat the last guy, grab the Meteorite and go down. There's a path down and go down. After finishing that path you should be at Lavaridge town and that's where the 4th gym is. She is fire type.

The fouth gym is in lavaridge town. Go north on route 111 and 112 (north of mauville-rock smash required) and turn right at the desert. When you get to the cable car however it will be blocked off by magma grunts. So go through fiery path to fallarbor town and then down route 114 to meteor falls. When the cutscene is done go to the cablecar and it will be accesable. Ride it to the top of mt. chimney. At the top go up and fight Archie then you are free to go down jagged pass to lavaridge (you can also get a wyanaut egg from the lady next to the pkmn center) p.s. the gym leader uses fire-types.... hope this helped

keep walkin' past fortree, and you will see steven on the bridge. talk to him and go to the gym

go 2 Celadon,go 2 the southern part of the city and go east a bit. Next cut the tree and go into the path. Keep going west until there's a gap. Go up there and enter the gym.
