How come I can't trade over GTS It says Pokemon cannot be offered for trade?

Certain Pokemon, even Pokemon, have a ribbon that makes it impossible to trade the Pokemon over the GTS. Any Pokemon with a ribbon that shows the "love of a Pokemon" can not be traded. Any Pokemon WITHOUT that ribbon should be able to be traded.
BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE A RIBBON!Wiki User

∙ 12y agoIt's probably because your Pokemon has an item that can't be traded.
If you still cant trade then its because the other person has an item that cant be traded.
It may also be because that your Pokemon or the other persons Pokemon is from action replay...

∙ 12y agoEither you don't have it in your pokedex, the Pokemon your trying to send over is hacked or something, or your Pokemon doesn't fit the parameters of the request.

∙ 12y agowait for heart gold and soul silver to come out in the near future then trade from those but Pokemon G & S are too old to trade to a GB Advance game, since it was made for the GB Color
