well if you want to defeat all eight gym leaders i cant realy tell you wat to do exept if you want to have a better chance of winning i sujest you battle all of the trainers first and then go heall your Pokemon at the Pokemon center and then come back to battle the gym leader i hope this helps

I find out what type of pokemon they use from the sign outside and then find out what the weaknesses of that type of pokemon is by websites like pokemondb.net then train and breed them
