How did Asa butterfield get his start in movies?

Asa Maxwell Thornton Farr Butterfield attends a drama group after school in his home town called The Young Actors Theatre. He was spotted by one of his teachers from a young age who put him through to auditions, at the age of only 8 he gots his first role in After Thomas and a year later appeared in Son of Rambow. He got his big break playing Bruno in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas in 2008. After this he signed up with an agency who has since been managing his carreer and suggesting him for roles such as Mordred in Merlin, Donny in Ashes to Ashes, young Ben Talbot in the Wolfman, Norman in Nanny McPhee 2, Hugo and most recently Ender in Ender's Game, set for release 1 nov 2013.
