"Puppy", a 12.4 meter tall topiary sculpture, was based upon a West Highland terrier. The artwork is composed of 70000 blooming flowers which grow from the steel and soil structure. The stainless steel framework holds over 25 tons of soil watered by an internal irrigation system. To help construct this, 3D computer modeling was used to assist in constructing a stainless steel frame, covered in hand-molded wire mesh which was then lined with soil and fitted with an internal irrigation system.
