Tom Thomson died July 8, 1917, at the age of 39. He accidentally drown during a canoeing trip on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park. Some people believe that is not how he died. His body was found in the Lake.

∙ 15y agoAccording to the police he "hanged himself with his school tie" at his home in Virginia, Durban North on April 24, 2006. His family believes he was involved in a schoolboy prank known as the 'choking game' that went wrong. He left no suicide note.
