The Titans were 6 gods: Cronus, Coeus, Crius, Iapetus, Hyperion and Oceanus, sons of Uranus (the sky) and Gaia (the earth), who ruled the world before the Olympians came to power.
When Uranus was King he imprisoned 6 giant brothers of the Titans in the belly of the earth. This caused Gaia much pain, so she persuaded her Titan sons to rebel against their father. Led by Cronus, all but Oceanus laid an ambush for Uranus, seizing him as he descended to lay upon earth. Four of them were posted to the 4 corners of the earth to hold Uranus, while Cronus castrated him with a sickle. Once they had seized control of the universe, the Titans released their giant brothers, only to lock them away in the pit of Tartarus a short time later.
Uranus and Gaia prophesied that a son of Cronus would eventually depose the Titan king, so Cronus, in fear for his throne, took to devouring each of his offspring as soon as they were born. Zeus, however, escaped this fate when his mother Rhea hid him in a cave on the island of Crete and deceived Cronus by giving him a rock wrapped in cloth, which he swallowed, believing it to be his newborn son.
When Zeus had grown up he availed himself of the assistance of Metis, daughter of Oceanus, who gave Cronus a potion that forced him to vomit the stone and the children he had swallowed. Reunited with his siblings, Zeus declared war on Cronus and the ruling Titans. The Titans occupied Mount Othrys, the sons of Cronus occupied Mount Olympus. The war lasted 10 years, when Gaia at last promised victory to Zeus if he would deliver the Cyclops and Hecatoncheires from Tartarus. Zeus accordingly killed Campe, who guarded the Cyclops, and the Cyclops thanked him with the gift of thunder and lightning. Pluto gave Zeus a helmet, Poseidon gave Zeus a trident.
The Titans were then overcome, and thrown into the pit of Tartarus, where they were guarded by the Hecatoncheires, and Zeus took his place on Olympus as king of the gods.
he and his diemgod friends found out that luke was the prohecy and luke had to kill himself and which he did to kill kronos.

Mythologically speaking, Olympians were the descendants of Titans. Gods of Olympians were the next generation. Like Zeus's father, Kronos. And Apollo, Artemis mother, Leto, a Titanesse, through Zeus, and so on. Most of the Olympians were Zeus's son or daughter. Except Aphrodite (Piece of Ouranous which fell to sea), Hephaestus (Hera alone), Demeter & Hestia (Zeus's Sister).
The Titans are the children of Gaea and Ouranos. They ruled before the Olympians did. They lived on Mount Othrys. The Olympians are some of the children of the Titans and some of the children of Zeus. The twelve Olympians are Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Apollo, Artemis, Athena, Hermes, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Ares and Dionysus. They live on Mount Olympus. The Titans ruled the Cosmos before Man was created (since Man was a creation of Zeus through Prometheus). They represented the broader and more wild aspects of nature. For example, Okeanos and Tethys represented the world ocean and the dangers of the seas. Hyperion and Theia represented shining light. Etc. The transition from the Titans to the Olympians in a cultural sense reflects the influence that expanding contact with the Near East had on ancient Greece.
Percy, hence the series is called Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and he narrates all the others.
Hades or in Roman terms, Pluto
1. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif. 2. Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. 3. Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse. 4. Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth. 5. Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian. After this, the series ends and a new one begins, which is Heroes of Olympus. It still involves Percy Jackson and his friends, but there are a bunch of new characters and it involves a fair bit of Roman mythology aswell. It follows a new story line, with a whole new threat. (No longer is Kronos the threat.) There are two out in the Heroes of Olympus series as far as I know: 1. Heroes of Olympus: the Lost Hero. 2. Heroes of Olympus: the Son of Neptune. Hope that helped!
...Powerful.
The Titanomachy, which resulted from the death of Cronus.
After defeat by the Olympians the Titans were cast into Tartarus which is a "pit" beneath the underworld of Hades.
After defeating the Titans, they all became the olympians.
the titans as Kronos are older than the Olympians. so they are pretty much the older versions of the Olympians.
The race prior to the Olympians were the Titans.
Their ancestors the Titans
Everywhere...
The Titans were the Olympians Parents (eg Kronus was father of Zues, Posiedon and Hades) so basically they were the first gods of Greece----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In Greek mythology, the Titans came first, their children became Gods AKA Olympians, so Titans where the first race in Greek mythology and Olympians came second and later took over and ruled over the Titans.
It is the sequel series to Percy Jackson & The Olympians. Cronus and the other Titans have fallen, but now Gaea, mother of the Titans, is rising. Her plans are wicked, like the Titans' in Percy Jackson & The Olympians, so three new characters, Jason, Piper and Leo have to defeat her, because they are three of the seven half-bloods in the second Great Prophecy.
No. The Greek gods were good and the Titans were evil versions of them.
