She took acting classes while living in New York, but her big break came when she got a role in a play called No Time Flat. Due to her performance in this play, she was offered a part in a made-for-TV movie called Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman. This led to other job offers in smaller movie productions and television roles. Her role in the movie Demolition Man was what started her on the road to other more notable movie roles and to the fame that she has today.
