The first step is for a screenwriter to write a script, after the script is written he or she must get funding from a film company. They will then pick a director and the rest of the crew. The casting director will then start holding auditions and will cast all the characters in the script. They will then start to build sets, pick locations and costumes. Then over a few months they will film the scenes. After filming they will go to editing and be pieced together with the effects added and the music added.

AND they have to find lots of actors to do the films.

It's hard to make action movies because of the stunts involved, so yes it was hard. A lot of it was CGI as well which made it harder, however it's not the hardest movie ever to make.
