They import it from their GBA Pokemon games (LG,FR,S,R,E) through the Pokemon Pal Park system. Hope this helped!
maybe if you give your squirtle an item, people would trade it, look for repeaters!
you can get charmander at sendoff spring and bulbasaur at route 222 but you need the pokeradar for both of them.
You can trade it from HG or SS, Or even send over eggs From them, Since I never Had Platinum I do not know.
Unfortunately, you can't find a wild Squirtle in Pokemon Heart Gold. But you'll get a Squirtle (if you want that Pokemon, because the other choices are Bulbasaur and Charmander) from Professor Oak in a certain point of your game.
you cant unless you hack
squirtle is better than bulbasaur. bulbasaur wins just because of it's advantage

no yes once you get the national deck. In the factory u see people with many and my friend is a master at Pokemon and he saids you can get it some how.
You can't. You have to either get them from someone who has one, or get them from fire red or leaf green using pal park.
no the only ways are to import them from fire red and leaf green or through action replay ....,,.............pokemaster millz
you can't find him in the wild in platinum but many people are willing to trade you one on the gts. however you have to have his picture in your pokedex to request him.
The first Pokemon in the national pokedex is a bulbasaur
