the card key is on floor 9 somewhere. go on floor 3 and use it in the first door u see. 1 of those portals will lead u to a portal close to a portal that leads u to another portal that's blocked by........ can u guess who?.......... seriously, can u guess? cuz im not gonna tell u. but u have 2 battle him. and trust me, this person is not ur rival. when u go to that portal, wait! its blocked by some1 else! hes not gonna battle u, hes gonna reward u!!!!! lucky u!!!!! he gives u........! a lapras.
... ... ... ... ... ... ...
wow, real buzzkill. then u finnally get to battle the team rocket boss. but wait! theres some1 blocking ur way yet again! its a grunt. a grunty grunt grunt. then u beat da boss and da boss of silph co gives u a master ball!!!!!! yay!!!!!
well, go to the fith and battle a rocket (i forget which one) and he should have a card key, once you have the card key go to the 3rd floor and open the doors down there and the warp tile in the 1st room should lead you to the 7th floor. you will know your going in the right direction because your rival will be on the 7th floor also. after you beat your rival go on the warp tile behind him (a worker will give you a Lapras before you step on the warp tile), that tile should lead you to the last floor where you'll battle the rocket boss, once you defeat him the president of Sliph Co. will give you a mater ball.
to get through silph co, all you really need to do is find the card key.
Of course you can access all the rooms without the card key, but we all know that is @$%W@#% confusing.
To find the card key, go to the fith floor and go west then south. Go all the way south until you meet a rocket grunt. Defeat him. At the point you will notice that he has blocked your way and that there is a teleport square right beside him, so you can't go through! Don't panic : )
Step on the square. You will be teleported to another room. Now, step on the square that you just got teleported from and you will land back onto the original square again.
Now, proceed along and voila! The card key will be right there.
However, to reach the boss room in floor 11, you will still need to use the teleporters. It's a pain, I know.
Go to floor 3 and find the teleporter that will teleport you to a small room in floor 7
where your rival is. Defeat your rival and talk to the other guy in the room. He will give you lapras.
Now, step on the other teleporter in the room and it will teleport you to the boss room on floor 11.

∙ 14y agoIn HeartGold and SoulSilver, you can access the 1st floor of Silph Co. as soon as you enter Saffron City however you can't go into the elevator in order to get to the 2nd floor unless you have a Rotom as your lead Pokémon.
