There is no Friend Area in EoS. To access the different members of your team you speak to Chimecho in either the first underground floor of the Guild, or the post near the watering hole right in front of where you go to access the dungeons. Chimecho should bring up a list of your members and you will be able to activate them onto the team or have them stand-by if there are already activated.
