How do you audition for the next star?

Go to one of the audition centers (Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Toronto, Montreal, or St. John's). You'll sing to the producers, and if they think that you're good enough, they'll send you to the judges. If the judges think you're good enough, you'll get a Top 16 Ticket!

Its really hard to get in, the judges are very hard to under stand but hopefully this will help.

#1 Have a great voice

The judges are looking for talent like American Idol signers.

#2 play guitar

Because you play an instrument, it would be harder for the non-instrument players to beat you. (play guitar for auditions if you can also play other instruments. play piano or other instruments on the second audition in Ottawa.)

#3 have great dance moves

only add moves if you get past the first audition (Vancouver, Calgary, Halifax etc.) they would only like dance moves when you first start if they ask.

#4 finally, have a connection with a judge.

If you know any of the judges it will get you past them without any problems for the first auditions.
