How do you beat 7th gym leader in Pokemon diamond?

first you can get a water Pokemon for claydol, lunatone, and solrock. Try to get a psychic, dark, or ghost Pokemon for xatu and go into mt. pyre to get the shadow ball TM. Don't get a thunder or rock Pokemon because claydol might use earthquake.

also teach your water Pokemon surf because surf effects all the Pokemon the gym leader has on their field at the moment

Right. Go in and after you battle the people before you reach the gym leader, go out of the gym and go down to the poke centre to heal your pokemon. DO THIS AFTER EVERY BATTLE. When you go back to the gym, you don't have to battle the people before the gym leader again. This takes a small while because you have to solve the mechanism puzzle thing again but once youv'e done it the first time, you should remember.

The gym leader isn't really that hard to beat. My Dialga finished all of his pokemon, on it's own. As long as you have a strong Level 50-60, you should be alright.

Well, there's many ways to beat them. If you have a dark type Pokemon, then you should either train it (If it's a low level) or use it. You could also train your team without the dark Pokemon. Tate and Liza use psychic Pokemon so don't use any Pokemon weak against that type.

the 7th gym leader is Candice in Snowpoint City, she is an ice type trainer, I beat with my lv. 52 Empoleon and my lv. 49 Rapidash mostly Empoleon though. It's easy to beat her, just get a couple fire type Pokemon and you should beat her in like two seconds, dude. Good luck!
