How do you beat Akiza Izinski in Yu-Gi-Oh?

Firstly, Akiza's deck features Plant-type monsters that benefit from having other Plant-type monsters on the field. Her Spells and Traps often involve Plants on the field as well.

Cards that destroy Spell and Trap cards are highly recommended to counter cards like "Black Garden", "Miracle Fertilizer", and "Mark of the Rose". They also double as methods of stopping and destroying Trap cards before they can be activated like "wall of Ivy". "Dark Bribe", "Royal Decree", "Jinzo", and a few other are good for negating Traps - include the last two cards in your deck only if a limited use of Trap cards is detrimental to yourdeck's functioning.

Akiza has some tough monsters, but a few to make special note to watch out for are "Lonefire Blossom", "Gigaplant", and, of course, "Black Rose Dragon" ("BRD"). "Lonefire" can be summoned then sacrificed to easily bring out powerful monsters like "Gigaplant". "Gigaplant" can Special Summon more Plant-type monsters giving her fuel for her Spells, Traps, and Monster effects. "Black Rose Knight" is a fast and easy way for her to summon "BRD" that can wipe out your cards or use its second effect to give you a hard time.

Here's what can be done to limit the impact of these monsters. Monster-destruction cards like "Mirror Force", "Lightning Vortex", "Torrential Tribute", and "Bottomless Trap Hole" are some obvious choices. Be warned that they can be countered with "Pollinosis" if AKiza has it. If you really want to stop Akiza in her tracks, "Royal Oppression" might be a good choice - hopefully you don't want to Special Summon so much. "Solemn Judgement" and "Divine Wrath" are other possible means of dealing with Akiza's monsters.

Akiza does have cards that target the Graveyard to revive monsters like "Lord Poison" and "Miracle Fertilizer". "Necrovalley" will put an end to those cards as well as being one way to destroy an active "Black Garden".

Overall, putting in a few more cards that destroy Spells, Traps, and Monsters wouldn't hurt. Take note that Akiza's monsters tend not to have the ATK to fair well in battle except for a few. As long as you keep her Spells and Traps from eliminating too many of your monsters and quickly deal with any powerful ones she summons, you'll fair well.
