How do you beat blue in Pokemon Crystal?

I suggest Suicune, Typhlosion, Haunter or Gengar, and Noctowl, and Lugia if you can get him :-)

Attacks: (the important ones.)

Suicune: aurora beam, surf, rain dance

Typhlosion: flamethrower, thunderpunch, earthquake

Haunter: shadow ball, psychic, hypnosis, confuse ray

Noctowl: fly, take down, steel wing, confusion

Lugia: zap cannon, hydro pump, psychic (or something psychic type) aeroblast or fly

This is what I had. Lugia learns aeroblast at either level 77 or 1. I can't remember which. They should all be at least level 55, and bring revives ;-)

train your Pokemon to at least 60 and make sure you have lots of different types of Pokemon.

Go to the viridian city gym after meeting him on cinnabar island he will have tough Pokemon so stock up on revives, full restores, and full heals.

Once you have defeated the other seven gyms in the kanto region go to cinnebar island and Blue is there, Talk to him and he will return to his gym in viridian city.
