It's actually kinda hard to defeat Dragon type Pokemon with Typhlosion, because Typhlosion can do Fire attacks, here and there Dark, Normal, and Rock attacks. But Rock can knock out some of his Pokemon such as Dragonite. Make sure Typhlosion's holding a Quick Claw too to lead ahead than all of his other Pokemon. Rollout is one of Typhlosion's attack that is Rock type so keep that in its move-set.
Your best bet is to level up all of your Pokemon. Get them all to be at least level 45. You should also train your Typhlosion and Dragonair to around level 55 in Victory Road, since Lugia is not your best choice for the Pokemon league, but is a great backup.
to beat jasimine you should have a strong fire type like typhlosion (if you picked it) or magmar ect... it will take down her magnemite and steelix please recommend ( if this helps) =]
Let the game save and then watch the credits. geez
i have a typhlosion and to get flamethrower.you need to be lv.42
Trade it
you can't defeat it with a typhlosion if he has 2 hm's that suck, just restart your game and train 6 pokemon like an ice type and dragon.
If you beat the game the proffeser gives you one of the johto starting Pokemon (chickorita, cyndiquil, totodile). If you evolve cyndiquil to its final evoulution you will get typhlosion.
you have to beat lance and he gives it to you
i beat the elite four with tangrowth, empoleon, typhlosion, rhyperior, lugia and snorlax (i traded most of the Pokemon to my game
You can use a strong Pokemon to hit all the Elite four's Pokemon and champion Lance's Pokemon (in HeartGold). It depends on your Pokemon level but you can use ice types to beat Lance's Pokemons so it's easy to beat Lance.
you grow up and get a life :)
you can beat red in mt.silver as many times as you want

i used ampharos, typhlosion, ho-oh, gyrados, kadabra, and dragonair
beat lance and go to olivine docks
dump a pile of dirt on thim
Its a great team however you got to watch out for certain trainers, Ground type trainers will have no problem taking out typhlosion and luxray, water types can easily beat typhlosion and charizard, electric types can beat blastoise and charizard. My advice is to get rid of either typhlosion or charizard since there both fire types you want to have all different types you can.
