2. You can steal (Use Thief and Covet) a Red Shard from a wild Corsola. 5% chance of successfully getting a Red Shard.

You can't buy the evolution stones in Emerald, but if you find some shards in Underwater regions, like Green Shard, you will be able to trade them for stones of same color (Green = Leaf for example), in Hunter's House located on the way of Mossdeep from Lilycove.
