How do you capture Rotom in Pokemon pearl?

First you have to have a national pokedex, then you go to Eterna Forest and bring a guy that knows cut, then try to find a tree to cut down and cut it down, then keep going forward and you will find a house, go inside and use a max repel, then look in every room until you find a room with a T.V in it, once you do save and turn off then turn your ds back on and go to ds settings and change the time to 00:00 and save that, once it saves turn off and turn back on and get back to the game as fast as you can and hit a on the T.V screen. The only reason I tell you to go fast is because you have one minute to hit a on the T.V so once it turns to 00:01 and hit a it won't work. So you must hit a on the screen during the time of 00:00. so once you hit a on the screen you battle rotom and I reckon that you use a quick ball if you have one on the first turn. There are a few steps required to find and catch Rotom.

1. Make sure you have the national dex obtained
2. It is night time in game
3. You have seen the two ghosts of the Old Chateau

• One of the ghosts is in the room on the bottom floor. You might not see the ghost unless you thump the statue next to it.
• The second ghost is in the room to far right side of the top floor. Enter the room beside the ghost room (second to the far right). Look at the room to your right and you should see the ghost.

Once you have completed these steps, bring a pokemon with Cut and go into the Old Chateau in Eterna Forest during the night. Go up the stairs to the second floor and go to the room with the TV inside. Talk to the TV a few times and your battle with Rotom will begin. (Note: It may require your clock to be around midnight)

The easiest way to catch the Rotom would be to paralyze it or put it to sleep and then weaken it with a pokemon around its level (15). Then use ultra balls or dusk balls for the greatest chance at catching it.

Be sure to save the game before talking to the TV incase you accidentally kill Rotom.
