you have to get to the abandoned ship which is east of dewford town. Keep going forward until you get to a room this room dont have any trainers so you cant train here but go to the top right hand corner and you'll come to a set of stairs go down these stairs and you'll come to a room with three different compartments of it. Go inside the middle door of the compartment at the bottom (the one with 3 doors) Inside, you'll see some water - you can dive here and keep going into another entrance to find a scanner which the captain is looking for (that can also earn you a deepseascale or a deepseatooth) - you can fish (use a super rod) in this water for a while and then you'll come across a tentacruel.
