How do you catch ho oh in pokemon heartgold?

Go to Ecruteak city and go through one of the houses with a secret entrance in it. The entrance will lead to tin tower. Go to the top of tin tower. It might take a little while to find the right path, but once you get to the top Ho-oh will be on the roof waiting to be caught.

Once you get all gym badges in Johto go to Goldenrod underground and talk to the Team rocket grunt. He gives you a team rocket suit. go to radio tower and go up but your rival sees you fight the people and get to the top once you have fought the director imposter go to the underground warehouse he tells you about and help the real one. talk to him after and he gives you the Rainbow wing go to Ecruteak dance theatre fight the people and they give you a clear bell go to bell tower top and they do a dance and it comes he is level 45 hope i helped xD

first of all i don't know who said you had to catch entei raikou and suicune but you don't have to. you go i think 2 goldenrod city and a guy will give you a rainbow wing and then you go to the dance theater its either in violet city or ecruteak city but make sure you beat all 8 gyms and get the master ball that's the only one in the game and you get ho oh weak then use the master ball and catch it. I caught ho oh and i didn't even have raikou entei or suicune just to let you know ho oh has some good moves

First, you have to obtain a rainbow feather. Then you go to the Bell Tower in Ecruteak City and the guy in there will let you through. Then you go up the tower and the Kimono Girls will do a special dance. Then, you will see Ho-Oh flying. Then talk to Ho-Oh and the battle begins. If you have a Master Ball, use it on Ho-Oh. It worked when I caught Lugia.

to catch HO-OH, you will need all joto badges. then the kimono girls will want to battle you in etruek city. i spelled that wrong :( oh well.sorry. each one will battle you and they will have 1 Pokemon each and they will be eevees evolutions. then they will give you the clear bell, then someone comes in rushing and says its back the rainbow thing. then the kimono girls will tell you to go with them to bell tower, but of course, they wont go with u like they wont follow u or lead you. u have to get through something really hard and when you go on the roof the kimono girls will do there dance and then the clear bell will rise then ho-oh will come you should save before battling her. then go up toher and click a and then it all happens. oh, this will not work if you don't have the rainbow wing. don't even get me started on the silver wing. lol. ! :)

I am not the person from above but like he/she said, You need to get all 8 gym badges. After you get all of them Prof. Elm will call you so you can get the master ball. After receiving it go to the dance theater in Ecruteak (IDK if I spelled it wrong) City. You will battle all of the kimono girls that you helped. Each kimono girl has an eevee evolution Pokemon. When you defeat all 6 of them they will give you the clear bell. Then a girl will come in nd say that Ho-Oh came to the Bell Tower. Go to the bell tower and get to the roof. ( I'm not telling how) The kimono girls will be there. Give them the clear bell and they will do their dance as well as ringing the bell. When Ho-Oh comes get in front of it and press a. Then you will battle it. Capture it with the master ball. ( I wont help with Lugia) Have fun with your newly caught Ho-Oh!

When you get to Pallet town talk to the man outside who will give you the rainbow feather. Use it to get into the tower, at the top will be level 70 Ho-oh but when you get heart gold it will be lvl 45 like lugia in soulsilver but if you get heart gold then catch lugia it will be lvl 70

You cannot catch Ho-oh in the wild in Pokemon Black. You need to trade for it, transfer it through the PokeLab, or Dream World. (Which is not available anymore.)
