How do you catch mesprit in pokemon diamond and pearl?

After running into Mesprit in the cavern in the middle of lake Verity the Pokemon will then roam around Sinnoh. Follow it's movement by using the Map Marker Poketech app.

ok this is what youll need 1:a master ball:2:a bike:3 good navagasion.......first chase the mesprit down with ur map(bottom screen flip if u have to)then ride ur bike to the spot....WARNING:The mesprit will start moving so do not fly there it:now when u find it use ur master ball and youll want to catch it.......where to get the stuff??????action replay go to code junkys and get master ball code witch gives u 999 master balls the run through anything would be a great advantige so if u want to and got time to put in the a long code i prefere u should.same for the other lake pokemons u should ether try a dark ball or master ball......and there u have DR.911 out pease

Ok people it may sound simple but trust me its hard

first you go to lake verity and there will be mesprit in the cave

then after it flees professer rowan will talk to you and you have to use the marking

map on your poketch(you get from the guy in jubilife city wich is the poketch guy near

the counter).next you use the marking map and go where the little popping icon on

your poketch and that is mesprit.do not use fly because it will just move to another

spot.then once you go on its spot battle it but if you have a Pokemon that know mean

look use it so it wont fled but if you don't have mean the use a master ball if you want.

you can head to lake verity [right next to your home town]to challenge Mespirit, crossingthe lake with surf and then entering the cavern to find Mespirit in the center.But when you approach,it's not a battle you find it's a chase!

Walk through tall grass or water shown on the marking mapand mesprit will come to you.[If you approach Mesprit with out a the pokatch app [sorry i forgot how to spell it]marking map talk to the presedent of the pokatch place in jubillife city]Unfortunately, it won't give you much a chance to catch it,escaping as soon as the battle starts. What to do?Use meen look or block to keep Mesprit from fleeing and then bring out your power moves to wear it down and catch it.

It is a psychic type so it will get real weak if you use bug-,Ghost-,or dark type moves, then switch off to some move types that will decrease Mesprit's HP slowly.

In Diamond/Pearl you have to catch Dialga/Palkia first to get Mesprit. You get Dialga/Palkia in MT. Cornet. Go to the Lake in Twinleaf Town. The one you and your friend went when you started your joruney. That's the lake where you got your starter pokemon. Go there and use Surf on the lake. There should be a small cave in the middle of the lake. Go inside and Mesprit will be there. Note that when you talk to Mesprit in the cave, The Mesprit will vanish and he will be running all over Sinnoh! You have to have a Level 55 Golbat that knows Mean Look or else the Mesprit will run away when you see it. You will also need the poketch that shows you a map. When you see the map on your poketch, there should be a black face. That's Mesprit. Go to Sandgem Town and go up to Route 202 and back down at Sandgem Town. The face will move. Do that over and over again until you get the face in Route 202. Go in the nearest grass and there will be Mesprit. Use Mean Look on it and weaken it as much as you can and throw any kind of Poke Ball until you catch it.

after capturing palkia go to the lake where you met piplup/chimchar/turtwig then use surf or use a walk on water code. yiu will see an tiny island go into the enntrance, mespirit will be there, but mespirit will disappear then prof. rowan will say mespirit wants to play chase, click on the poketch until you have found the mini map, it will show something flashing, everytime you move from place to place, it will move too, if you in the same area as it, go near some grass and mespirit might pop up, use a master ball or quck ball and you will capture it, but if you don't it will flee.

mespirit will always run from you so you have to walk to the closest place to where he is but dont fly otherwise he will run away really far
