1) Get the national pokedex (that means SEEING, not necessarily catching, all 210 Pokemon)

2) Go to Professor Rowan in Sandgem town which will trigger a cutscene in which Professor Oak enters the lab and gives you the national Pokedex

3) Go to the Pal Park at the end of Route 221

4) Go to Professor Oak's house in eterna city ( at bottom left of city )

5) Professor Oak will mention that the legendary birds have been spotted and they will appear on the map on your poketech ( bottom screen ) like mesprit. I ran between Sandgem Town and Route 219 until me and one of the Pokemon were both on route 219. Then I surfed and ran into it.

6) I would recommend getting an Action Replay after this so you can get 999 master balls to catch them and 999 rare candies to get them to lvl 100 and if you cant get that well then i don't know what to do..... just try to get them i guess ( lol )

Hydraxon said: To capture the legendary birds with no Action Replay is fairly simple. Just run into them and use a Quick Ball. That works most of the time. If not, bring in a Haunter, Gengar, Golbat or Crobat that knows the move named Mean Look (don't confuse with Scary Face, that only lowers the opponent's speed) and be prepared. Be sure to bring a ton of Ultra Balls (or Dusk Balls if you are catching at night, they work nearly twice as well as Ultra Balls when it's dark), and a level 100 Sceptile that knows False Swipe (others like Sneasel can be taught it with TM54). Use False Swipe as many times as possible (It wil always leave the opponent with at LEAST 1 hp. Then pound it with Ultra Balls. Bang. One down. Two to go.

You can also use a Wobbuffet. That's how I caught Cresselia. That's also an easy way. It has Spell Tag which makes sure that any wild Pokemon may not escape. If you are still struggling when they are at 1HP, it might be worth taking a really quick Pokemon (or at least one that's holding a Quick Claw) and using Thunder Wave to paralyse the legendary Pokemon. This doubles the chance of catching it. It will run off when it gets a chance but if you do manage to paralyse it, it will still be paralysed next time you see it. I used a Dragonite, but Pikachu, Luxray, Electabuzz etc. are all quite quick at high levels as well.
