The first step, is to get some friends in the game. Search for people online that have the game, for their username. Instagram is also an easy way to find people with the app. Then, go into the scroll at the top right. Find the glive option (may have to scroll down). That is where you will get your options for adding friends. When you send an invite, and they accept it, you can now both send each other hearts. This time though, go to the scroll, and select the social option. You can either connect with Facebook, or the glive. After all that, you will see your friends where you can send them a gift by taping on their name, and click the present, or the gift all butoon at the top. You can also visit their town, and drop a chest off that way too(then you could actually leave 2 gifts-1 at their town, and the other from the list of friends).

You could buy them with real money if you'd like, otherwise, on rare ocations you will find them with derpy, or when you destroy parasprites/changelings, or even if you do a bigger balloon pop that's not the free one, they will pop up. There's also sometimes they will give you free ones if you watch videos. Have fun saveing.
