Uhh well you start at twinleaf town and catch Pokemon. Then you work your way up to the survival area. Then you should have captured all the Pokemon. And make sure to fish a lot and walk in tall grass a lot too. Trading Pokemon is another good way to fill the pokedex pages.

you have to see almost all the Pokemon in the normal pokedex then professor.rowan gives you a national pokedex and then you unlock a place behind sandgem city and its called pal park and you get to pick witch Pokemon you want to migrate
Chinchou is not available in Pokemon Firered Version. You can only get it by trading from Pokemon Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald Version.
