How do you complete the pokedex in Pokemon platnum?

Once you complete the Elite Four in Johto, Professor Elm gives you an S.S. ticket to Kanto. When you beat all the gyms there Professor Oak will tell the officer guarding Mt.Silver that you can pass. At the top of Mount Silver there will be a trainer, his name is Red. He is the character from Pokemon Leaf Green and Fire Red. Red is very powerful so I suggest to train before the fight. After you defeat Red you're free to do whatever :D
