How do you defeat elite four Cynthia?

Cynthia will send out spiritomb first. get a Pokemon level 90+ with a dark type move and use that move twice. to beat her lucario, use a fighting type move on that to beatit. for garchomp use a dragon move. for gastrodon and milotic use a good grass move like leaf storm or frenzyplant.to beat her roserade use fire blast or blast burn. torterra is good for spiritomb, palkia with aura sphere is good for lucario, torterra is good also for milotic ang gastrodon. of course in fernape is good for roserade. dialga or palkia withdraco meteor or roar oft ime or spacialrend is good for garchomp

Cynthia is the hardest champion to beat out of all of the Pokemon games as far as I'm concerned.

She actually has a really great team, and some particularly difficult Pokemon like spiritomb, milotic and garchomp. The simple answer would be to build a really well balanced team and train the hell of them, actually Cynthia's team is a good reference point for team building, or another thing i sometimes do for a bit of fun is pick one Pokemon out of each of the elite fours and champions teams in conjunction with my starter Pokemon for my own team... I obviously don't know what team your using against the rest of the elite four but here are some of my tips for Cynthia.

Spiritomb - There's no trick here, that i know of. Spiritomb has no weakness and even base Special defense and Defense stats so it comes down to using a Pokemon with a strong and reliable STAB move (not fighting or normal type!) that can still resist spiritombs dark pulse. I often use Empoleon as steel types have a resistence to dark type moves.

Garchomp - the difficulty with Garchomp is its great Attack coupled with decent Speed stats. the best counter to Gar in my opinion will always be Weavile. it's fast and can use good STAB physical ice attacks which will hit Gar for 4x super effective.

Any Pokemon with a good ice attack and good speed will work but only if trained well.

Milotic - This Pokemon is especially annoying, even hitting it with a super effective thunder won't often take it down, and then you risk it using mirror coat, which will reflect all that special damage back onto you doubly, most likely taking you out.

The best way around this is simply to use a physical attack which wont be able to be mirror coated, and while this might mean hitting milotic two or three times for the KO, if you have a decent Pokemon that out-speeds milotic then you should be fine. I use Gallade with leaf blade, but a STAB grass or electric move would be better like Electivire with thunderpunch

Roserade - Any fire or ice type will easily take out roserade as it is unlikely to do much damage to them before you hit it even if it out-speeds you.

Togekiss - Actually a good Pokemon, i think, but no huge threat here. just watch out for any weakness against fighting from your opposer as Togekiss will use aura sphere. otherwise, easily taken care of with a good electric, rock, or ice attack, you could use Weavile again here if it was part of your team.

Lucario - Would be a problem if not for it's array of weaknesses. Any ground type with earthquake or earth power will get rid of him quickly or better yet, use a fast fire type so as to avoid being KO'd by close combat straight off the bat, as Lucario's speed isn't bad. I use the same Pokemon as i do for Roserade, Timid Nature Magmortar with flamethrower.
