infernape is probably the best choice against him because he has bot fire and fighting type moves: mach punch is an efficient start & flamethrower/wheel is a good good follow up. other than that get fast fire, ground, or fight type Pokemon to annihilate his steel
It doesn't matter which Pokemon you use, as long as you stay tough, you will win. The gym is Ghost-type right? Get a Dark-type like Murkrow in Eterna Forest at night. Murkrow is only in Diamond. Misdreavus (Ghost-type) is in The Lost Tower under Solaceon town on route 209. You can get Misdreavus if you have Pearl only.
AnswerOPTION1
okay well i don't know if i got this by luck or what, but anyways use a Dark-type moves for ex. i have a Luxray lv.32(Shinx 2 and final evolution) in this battle all i did was use its move Bite, since that move was a "Dark Move" it beat all 3 of Fantina pokemons (Drifblim lv.32,Gengar lv.34,Mismagius lv.36) but Mismagius did fainted my Pokemon when it used "Magic Leaf"-(A Grass type move,Yeah i was suprise that this Pokemon had grass since its a ghost?) w.e its called, but i used a revive -(revives a Pokemon after a faint, that's why it got its name,no brainer;) ) at some point. Well hope this helps, goodluck.
OPTION 2
Fantina is the leader of Hearthome City Gym, the fifth gym in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. She specialises in Ghost-type Pokemon, which shouldn't be much of a challenge for a good team.
Fantina has the following Pokemon:
Drifblim (Ghost/Flying) level 32
Gengar (Ghost/Poison) level 34
Mismagius (Ghost) level 36
A good team for this gym battle will involve a decent levelled team with Pokemon who have Ghost or Dark-type moves. As Fantina's highest level Pokemon is on level 36, I recommend that you have your team between level 34 or 36. Do not use Psychic-types, as they will not stand much of a chance unless they are on levels in the late 40s or early 50s (and even then). The best type to use against Fantina's Pokemon would be a Normal-type, as Ghost moves do not hit Normal-types. Conversely, Normal-type moves do not hit Ghost Pokemon, so have your Normal Pokemon learn some Ghost moves (like Shadow Ball) and/or some Dark-type moves (like Crunch).
Two out of Fantina's three Pokemon are duel-types, so be careful when sending out your Pokemon. Of course, you could play this to your advantage, using Electric or Ice-type moves against Drifblim.
The only strong move Fantina seems to have is Ominous Wind, which isn't too devastating, so your Pokemon will be alright. Simply keep your team on a decent level, and use type to your advantage.
Go to the light house and talk to the guy with the spiky hair. then go to the gym and use a ground type.
use any of your Pokemon and try your best
Any of your starters other than the grass one will do well. Also, electric, fighting or ground will also do well.
To get the sixth badge you need to go to Saffron City and fight their leader. You must defeat the rockets in Silph first, however. Saffron's leader, Sabrina, can also be the fifth gym leader. Koga, the poisonous ninja of Fuschia, could be the sixth gym leader if you fight Sabrina first. Their position can be swapped. And please find the weakness of poisonous Pokemon before fighting them. They are super powerful
byron the sixth gym leader u fight him in canalave gym
In Fortree city. There will be an invisible Pokemon blocking the entrance, so you will need a Devon Scope (a device by Devon that signals any unseeable Pokémon) which will be a gift from Steven when you meet him on a wooden bridge on Route 120. ^_^
The first gym leader has ground and rock types, the second leader has fighting types, the third leader has electric and steel types, the fourth leader has fire types, the fifth leader has normal types, the sixth leader has flying types, the seventh leader has psychic and rock types, the last leader has water types.
AFTER DEFEATING 6th GYM LEADER go to the mines in 2nd escavation area cave where inside u meet Gromeri the gym leader to get the exploit kit to blow away the big rocks in your road to stellril city. Now Go Blast The Rocks
The six gym leader location in Pokemon Heart Gold is Olivine City, but you battle the one in Cinnabar first.
go to the seventh leader. -_-
The sixth gym badge (the Marsh badge) is located at Saffron City's gym. It is in Gym Leader Sabrina's possession, so you have to defeat her to obtain it.
The Sixth Gym leader is Chuck, he has a Hiryama and a Poliwrath.
you have to defeat the gym leader in the 5th gym or something ...
When you get the 6th badge, go to the Lake of Rage and Pryce will be standing there watching the red Gyrados. He's the 7th Gym leader now.
One of your Pokemon has to learn surf.
You have to go to ecruteak city and meet eusine. Then entei won't be too far behind. You have to battle entei once you see him. You have no choice. Its not easy to beat him. I had to resort to my sixth Pokemon to defeat him!
For Pokemon you have to use your skills and defeat characters to find the magical sixth city. Try and you will succeed
You go to Cianwood city south of Olivine City and talk to the guy in the pharmacy. He will give you the secretpotion which you then give to Jasmine (the girl with the sick pokemon) and she gives it to the pokemon. After that you can battle Jasmine as she is the sixth gym leader and she uses steel types.
in canalava city
Ummm... Which Pokemon game?
