How do you fight the gym leader in the saffron city in Pokemon fire red?

easy, Sabrina has psychic Pokemon, psychic Pokemon have a high special attack and special defense. so don't use that route. good thing is that they have a really low defense stat. sooo use physical attacks, but not fighting moves cuz fighting isn't effective. orrr use dark moves, and as long as your Pokemon are around the same level, you shouldn't have too much problems.

first go too celadon masion and get the tea shes on the first floor next to the enterance . then u go to cerulean city and go trough the door right next to the Pokemon day care (the bigger passage then u get to saffron!!)

Go into Silph Co. and clear it of all rocket grunts and Giovanni.

Well, Gardenia mostly focuses on the Grass type pokemon, so i would suggest using a fire, ice, or a flying type.
