you have to beat the elite four, and have a master ball.

give it to a Pokemon, and clone it. you can clone by doing the following:

1. go to the battle frontier

2. go to the battle tower

3. logon to the PC

4. deposit the Pokemon you want cloned into an empty box

5. log off the PC and save the game

6. log back on withdraw the Pokemon

7. start a battle with the lady closest to you

8. make it an open battle

9. when she saves the game, you see a pause

10. when she begins saving, turn off the gameboy

11. when you turn it back on, you will have the same party, but in the box is the cloned Pokemon
