Train an Eevee during the day time and eventually it will evolve. Trade your Eevee to a Ruby or Sapphire version (because they have the time) and look after it well. Give it items when it is unwell, let it hold an item, train it and keep it at the top of your party. Soon it will come to like you and on the next level, it will evolve into an Espeon (only during the AM hours). Trade the Espeon back to Leaf Green and now you have an Espeon.

∙ 10y agoYou can not get espeon, umbreon,leafeon or glaceon in lea fgreen or fire red.
you can only get flareon ,vaporeon and jolteon because the the rest of the eeveeloutions did not exist in kanto only in johto,hoenn or sinnoh.
You could get it by evolving Eevee through Max happiness during the day.
The items Soothe Bell would help greatly.

In leafgreen there is no day or night time. So the only way to get an Espion is to trade it to a game with real time based events like HG or SS. Then give it max happiness and when it has evolved, trade it back. That is the only way.

Once you have talked to Bill go to his house in goldenrod and he will give you an eevee. Level it up during the day with full friendship for an espeon
Eevee evolves into espeon via happiness during the day (during the night u get an umbreon). Basically have it first in your party, walk everywhere with it. Take it to the haircut brothers in goldenrod city, give it a rare candy, talk to it a lot, if it finds an item then let it keep it etc. When you talk to it and it hugs you or walks closer. Level it up as soon as, and it should go. It is hard to do tho, i had to level mine up from level 5 to level 41 before it evolved.

∙ 13y agoFirst of all, Espeon cannot be found in the wild. Second, there is a very slim chance of you getting a shiny Evee, because Bill in Goldenrod gives you an Evee, which is highly unlikely for it to be shiny. If Bill were to give you a shiny Evee, it would evolve into a shiny Espeon when trained with love and care in the daytime.
A shiny Evee might hatch from an egg, but the chances of doing so is about 1 in 1800.
