How do you get Groudon on your team on mystery dungeon?

Bascially you just go to Groudon and fight him but you need to do certain things.

You can only recruit him if you have already battled him the first time

You need a small Pokemon (make sure you check the size)

If needed, recruit only ONE member from the Magma Cavern (Where Groudon lives).

You will have to have a high level Pokemon.

Tips.

Try to get a friend bow (Solar Cave i think and you need a key. There is lots of keys in the Western Cave but that is 99F!)

Bring food.

Bring a ground or fire type Pokemon

Bring a Non-stick cap or Trap Scarf

Save at the Kangaskan Statue at (located in 25F or 24F) and immediately shut down your DS and play the game again so you don't waste time going up 25F.

Groudon is at the last floor of Magma Cavern. It is unlikely that Groudon will want to join you, so the best thing to do is throw a few Gummis at the Groudon that it likes (Ground-type Pokemon like Brown Gummis best.) You MIGHT want to throw something other than a Gummi, since Groudon has the chance of catching the item you threw. It may take a while, but if I can manage it, so can you.

u finish the game and fight raquaza.after that fight groudon and it will join your team.

you have to fight rayquaza then do some rescue missons and fight kyoger and then you unlock his dungeon if you want him on your team i suggest holding a freind bow and being size 1.
