Beat the game and go through the unknown dungeon to get the improved version of Mew(Mewtwo) and to get Mew, do the Mew Glitch:
- Restart your game and play until you get HM02 Fly from the house west of Celadon City.
- DO NOT fight the following trainers:
- The Youngster with a Slowpoke (Level 17) on the road to Bill's house (Route 25). He is the fourth trainer after you cross Nugget Bridge, standing directly above a female trainer and facing north.
- The Gambler with two Poliwags and a Poliwhirl (all Level 22) between Lavender Town and Saffron City (Route 8). He is standing just east of the entrance to Saffron City, facing north toward the door of the Underground Path.
Fly to celadon city and go through the underground path. When you reach the other side, go out but make sure you're closest to the door. Take one step forward and quickly open the menu-before the gambler sees you then fly to cerulean city and fight the youngster then fly to lavender town(The menu will not work until you beat the youngster)then go west till the menu suddenly pops up. Close it then you'll encounter a lvl.7 Mew!Catch it!No excuses!NOW!
WARNING:This may cause annoying glitches like an invisible SUPER NERD double battle
NOTE: Mew can't be used on some battles
