If I remember correctly I asked around at the small town I think it was Dewpoint city ( you had to rid the boat to get there ) and talked to a man and the conversation was about fish and I think that's when he gave me the rod.

∙ 14y agoTheres 1 in route 218 talk to fisherman (old rod) i forgot where u get the great rod,and the super rod u go to snowpoint city get the boat lift to battle frontier go up and u see a fisherman then u get the super rod(must complete pokedex)
