To get a MAGBY in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl you musthave Pokemon LeafGreen inserted in the DS while playing Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. When you have LeafGreen inserted go to Route 227(The one going to Stark Mountain).Then go into some grass and you will(hopefully!)find MAGBY randomly in the wild.
so you just have to have that game inserted, nothing eles you have to do on LG????

∙ 10y agoGo to Mount Ember on Island One past Kindle Road and search on the grassy areas. Magmar is EXTREMELY rare so be ready to explore for at least 30 minutes. Remember, it is on the grass, not inside the volcano mountain.

∙ 16y agoyou can get a magby by putting 2 magmars 1 girl 1 boy in the daycare or put 1 magmar boy or girl in the daycare with a ditto. either way you get an egg wich will hatch into a magby.
