BP are battle points. You have to go to the battle tower and battle in there. When you've defeated seven trainers in a row, you'll earn battle points. The more trainers you defeat in a row (so first seven, then fourteen, then twenty-one, etc.) the more battlepoints you'll earn but the trainers will also get stronger and stronger.
