An easy way to get money in Pokemon diamond/pearl is to get an item called 'luck incense'

this item is a hold item. if you finish a battle with the Pokemon that is holding this item , you will get double the amount of money you would usually get .

Personally , i have put this on my infernape level 74 , and i go to the Pokemon league , and i get about 14,000 a fight and 2000xp+ for every Pokemon i defeat , so its good money and good XP

there are many ways to get easy money, such as walking around and catching pokemon, then selling the items or using them to level up your pokemon and defeat more trainers. also, if you catch a pokemon with the ability pick-up(ex. meowth), they might pick up something that you can sell when you are walking aroud. Meowth also learns the move payday (as does persian, its evolved form) so you can level it up and then use it in battles to get more money dropped in battles. If you make it hold an amulet coin, money gained from battles increases drastically. note, though: you dont normally get money in wild pokemon battles. for maximum money, get a persian to lvl 100 and then face the elite four with it and keep using payday. facing the elite four also gives you big bucks, but is the most difficult and time consuming way if you ask my opinion. since meowth is so crucial in finding money in this game, you probably want to catch one. you can find them in the trophy garden south of hearthome city.
