The best way is to do plenty of studying beforehand. When I did a practise test at the end of the year, i got bad marks because I didn't study. But when i did my formal test, i studyed a lot and almost got top marks.

Tests often aren't about how clever you are, it's about how well you can remember stuff.

The best way to score high in this area is to find areas of support for what you think the work means. There is no "wrong" answer (within reason) so long as you can support your claims through the text of whatever you may be reading.
