You have to defeat the Kanto Gym leaders and the Elite 4, but I defeated them and I don't see any Hollow Field...

∙ 14y agoi am not completely sure but i battled all the Kanto gym leaders in Pokemon crater and it said (when i beat the eight gym leader) i unlocked hollow fields. enjoy! (i hope)

What you have to do is choose your Pokemon and then enter battle. When the error comes wait 10 seconds and press refresh and there you go. It might be a struggle but the computer will get use to it.
