Concerning Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, season 2 is same plot as season 1. A mystery happens; they solve it. However, this new season actually has romance added between characters. Also, a mysterious "Mr. E" helps them solve some cases, though from behind the scenes, usually related to a previous group of mystery solvers. Additionally, unlike past renditions of Scooby-Doo cartoons, there exists a much larger mystery spanning thus far the whole series. The first 26 episodes merely establish what the mystery is, and an anticipated season 2 (season 3 by Cartoon Network) is anticipated to solve the mystery (or mysteries?). Just watch to find out! (Cartoon Network channel) This is slightly modified from the original plot of the old Scooby-Doo cartoons, of which numerous seasons exist. As with the new series of Scooby-Doo, the gang (Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo) or some modification thereof would stumble upon a mystery (typically dealing with a ghost or other spook). After finding clues, they would discover something about the identity of the person behind the monster's mask, set a trap, and then unmask the villain. The "catchphrase" at the end of each episode would include the unmasked monster remarking "I would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for you meddling kids," to which Scooby would merely say "Scooby-dooby-doo."
In "Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated," Daphne gets sad when she sees Scrappy-Doo in the museum because Scrappy-Doo was a character from previous iterations of the Scooby-Doo franchise who was eventually written out due to being unpopular with fans. Seeing Scrappy-Doo in the museum likely reminded Daphne of the past and potentially brought up negative feelings associated with that time period in the show's history. Additionally, Scrappy-Doo's presence could have symbolized a shift in the show's tone and direction that Daphne may not have agreed with or enjoyed.
Cameron Diaz played a ghost in the movie "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," released in 2009. In this romantic comedy, she portrays the character of a former girlfriend who haunts the protagonist, played by Matthew McConaughey, during a wedding weekend. The film uses elements of the supernatural to explore themes of love and regret.
One of the main differences between holidays in the past and holidays in the present is that in the past families spent more time together and religion played a big part in the celebrations. Also, as children grow and leave the nest, they find different ways of celebrating holidays.
In "The Book Thief," the word that haunts Liesel is "shame." This word reminds her of her feelings of guilt and remorse over her past actions, especially related to her brother's death. It serves as a constant reminder of the pain and suffering she carries with her.
