How do you get past the sleeping pokemon on the roads?

The only way to wake it up is to use a poke Flute and to get one you must first go to celadon city and go inside the game corner and beat the rockets you will receive a silph scope after defeating the boss Giovanni. Now go to lavendar town and go inside Pokemon tower keep going upstairs until you meet up with some rockets beat them then talk to the old man he will take you to his house now talk to him again and he will give you the pokeflute. Now go to the sleeping Pokemon press A on it and then say yes if you want to use the pokeflute now it will wake up and its snorlax and its level 30! Try to catch it or beat it then it will be gone.

you need to go to lavender town and speak to the plad man on the first floor and then go to route 11 and go to pokegear and click radio. Then scroll the thing up to the top to the pokeflute and close the pokegear. Then speak to the Pokemon and it will wake up.

I'm guessing that sleeping Pokemon is Snorlax :) All you gotta do is get the PokeFlute from that bridge by Lavender Town and go up to the Snorlax and play it :)

He'll be all O:< And wake up.

Beat the Pokemon Tower, the old dude will give you a pokeflute, which wakes up Pokemon immeadiatley

Get the Radio Card in lavender for the Kanto region, and play the Pokeflute channel next to the Snorlax, and then talk to it (You can then capture or defeat it)

To wake the sleeping Snorlax you need to get the pokegear radio upgrade (by restoring power to the power plant, then going to the radio tower) so you can access the pokeflute radio channel.
