How do you get rid of a HM move on Pokemon?

There is someone in every game (Move Deleter) talk to him and choose the move (Basic, TM, or HM) and they will forget it.

Usually these people are far into the game so you'll have to wait till you get there.

I cant think on the top of my head where they are all at, so you have to look though all the towns.

Go to the Move Deleter in Canalaeve City. He will make your Pokemon forget any moves and is the only way to forget HM moves. If you want a move back (not including TMs/Hms) go to the Move Relearner in Pastoria City with a Heart Scale, which can be found underground.

The resident Move Deleter will be able to delete it for you. Where the Move Deleter is depends on the Pokemon game you're playing. However, Red, Blue, and Yellow have no Move Deleter - once an HM is taught to a Pokemon in those games, there's no way of deleting it.
