There is a date set in the Pokemon diamond/pearl game and if you go int a mart on that day there will be a guy in green at the counter. Talk to him and he will give you oak's letter, an azura Flute, members pass, or a manafie egg. If he gives you oak's letter, go to your map and look at where the elite four are. There should be a spot that goes out to the side. The way the is through victory road. Go all the way to the end of it and porfesor oak should be there. Talk to him and a fake shamin comes. Follow it all the way up and a real shamin is there.

There are three ways in order to get the legendary Pokemon Shaymin.

NO. 1 - ACTION REPLAY

1.(you must use action replay) In action replay, choose Oak's letter and enter the game in.

2. Enter the pokemart and there is a letterman at the counter (a man dressed in green)

3. After go to Victory Road were the man was blocking a path go through and finish the cave and you will be in a route on map (its right next to the elite 4)

4. Then go through the route and Oak is standing there. Give him the letter and Shaymin will run down the route and you have opened a route that Shaymin will run down it. It will be at the end at (level 30)

Remember to have a master ball with you or you will maybe need 50 ultra balls.

No.2 - TRADING

You can trade with your friends, relatives, classmates, or other people to get Shaymin. It is impossible to get Shaymin without our trader using Action Replay anyway...

No.3 - Nintendo Event

The last option is to wait for a Nintendo Event where you can get Shaymin throught Mystery Gift. (You must have mystery gift). Sometimes there may be no event for that so the best option is to trade or do no.1.

This is actually wrong there is another way to do it, listen carefully if you have the second latest version of the R4 you will be able to do this greatly what you do is you go on the R4 menu and search for the game, activate the cheats it may be in Chinese so chose the second last one after the last drop menu(this will allow you to leave ares and walk through walls) Go to the front of the Pokemon league and walkn down the side of the cliff this will bring you to the other exit of that cave the brings you to the Pokemon league, go to that rock and you should see shaymin on sea break path walk down it and you should find flower paradise capture it (use Pokemon master ball cheat it's easy) If you don not have cheats for some reason send me the game file and your sav file to jimmbololafk@gmail.com or if you want to start again I'll send you the full cheats and game file.

I believe the Pokemon is called shaymin. If you are talking about getting it in Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, you have to use action replay, go to a special event, or trade it from somebody (although someone would have to be pretty dumb to trade a shaymin).
